After suffering a tragic and heartbreaking loss, we as a family could not have hoped for anything more than what Steven provided us. With an uncanny ability to connect with the families he helps, Steven arranged the most perfect farewell for our Ryan. With an endless amount of personal touches for both Ryan’s parents and children as well as Ryan himself, there wasn’t a single detail missed. This has by far been the most heart wrenching experience of our lives, and I was terrified to watch my 21 year old son take on the responsibility of planning his Dad’s funeral, but Steven made the process uncomplicated, personal, thorough, supportive and loving. I will be eternally grateful to him for making this so much more bearable for us all. I never thought that I would feel the need to recommend a funeral director for anyone, but I will sing the praises of this company for the rest of my life. And I will be planning my own funeral with them before my time comes! Incredible service.

All the preparation behind the scenes that Steven helped arrange to ensure my papas funeral and his procession was a success was really heart warming and touching for us as a family! From start to finish everything was absolutely perfect, From the piper, to driving by places that my uncle jim had memories in, the doves and a personalised poem from Karen (Act of Doves) which was fantastic and how amazing his order of service was personalising small wood cut tools onto the service as his favourite thing was wood work.The full service couldn’t have described my Uncle jim more if we had tried. Knowing on the day that when the time came Uncle Jim had chosen to go with Alexander Whitelaw & Co Funeral Directors gave us deep comfort as a family knowing that he would be so cared and looked after.
